The Golden Post
Yipee! This is my 50th post! I haven't been blogging for a while - it's because I am so busy thinking and doing things in real life. I haven't finished my website yet, and school's gonna start next week.
WhatdoIdo?WhatdoIdo?WhatdoIdo? I keep panicking how will I be able to wake up early when even now I couldn't? Oh well, let's just see... my future lies in my hands then.
Today is another day of my nostalgic days. Why? QTV decided to take a replay on American Idol Season 7. Of course, I couldn't help but watch (it's part of the reason why I
still haven't finished my website). I can't help but admire the contestants how far they've come.
Also, I noticed during the replays that I'm finding myself to actually quite believe that David Cook is somehow a smug? I shouldn't do that, but he keeps making this weird and awkward facial reactions when people say they admire him. Perfect example is the caller from Pittsburgh, I think who asked him to have a date for her birthday since DC is coming over to her hometown days almost her birthday. And then, DC said "We'll see..." with the slight bit of hesitation in his face. If I did that, maybe I felt bad. Oh, shucks I dunno.
I think this is just part of missing my infatuation. :c ARGH, he is still on my mind & heart! Tssss.. I am getting so cheesy. I should quit this (even though I know it's normal).Anyway, I'll be trying to finish the website tonight. I want to take a break and let traffic roll. School's going to start and before that I want to de-stress. After all, I'm going to be a college freshie @ UST right? I deserve a break.
But but... my uniform! OH GEEZ. Yes, my uniform! I forgot to tell you guys! My uniform's supersized! D: It's
medium and I didn't notice it was sooo big for me! The lady in UST (CFAD Dept.) told us that medium was the only one in stock and she was
somehow kind to let me fit the medium. So I went to the CR to fit it, and the blouse fit me although I disagreed with the idea that it's see-through, and
Mama got 3 pieces of the blouse. Without our knowledge and with confidence held in mind, we went home.
After a month, I decided to fit my uniform again and much to my surprise it was 2x bigger than my bodyframe! OH MY GAWD.
It meant that either the blouse was not actually medium, but it was small OR the lady gave us 3 blouses which weren't the right size (if not medium). It was so devastating, you could actually see I'm doing ALL CAPS here!!! Yesss it was so big and the neckline extends up to the cleavage! I'm way frustrated because I don't have big boobs, yes... at all. Hahaha. Funny right? Well I admit I am a bit flat-chested but I'm happy with my kiddie-size bodyframe. At least I could stash clothes from the kids section in the department store.
But back to the uniform... I dunno what I'm going to do with it. I think I'm running my head over to the nearest best tailor/dressmaker in town and let him/her do the work. Ack, I can almost cry right now.
Oh well. I am still clueless about the independent life. I don't know if I'll survive. Coz' you know I get easily homesick. But,
I shall manage. See you again, but I think I'll be blogging more on my site now. :) Anyways, I won't forget this blog. It has been with me since way back when. :D I am just teary-eyed happy right now.
In short, mixed emotions. The Rainbow Goddess,

First Transfer
Aww, I only got 14 days for my summer vacation - June 10 will be saying hello to me because UST will have its University Mass on that date. Whatever it is, I am still unsure of attending. I don't know how those things work in college. And I even have a bigger-than-me sized uniform! Oh crap. x(
I'll be taking my uniform to the best dressmaker in town. I shall not have a uniform that makes me look like a patient from the mental hospital. Oh right, exaggeration again. Tssss, I think this week sucks (if not for my website design sessions) because I won't have anything to do besides encode, design, eat and sleep. Gosh, and I got back to my "insomnia days" again. I slept late, like I think it was around 4 or 5 AM. How will I ever survive being independent if oversleeping is my worst enemy this school year?
My class would officially start on Wednesday, 11th of June 2008. But my daily sked begins on Monday - good thing class starts @ 10 AM. Then on Tuesday (which is supposedly my "break day" because my first subject starts at 1:00 PM) I have my PE - volleyball. BVC12. 9-11 AM.
I still don't have any idea what college is like. The title of this post says it all -
all firsts. And speaking of which, it is also my first time to transfer my files to a paid domain. Now, I can have all the website named to myself. :)
"I love the idea of having my own space in the web."
Anyway I think I just have to encode and encode and encode until this website (HappyChocoBox.net) is finished. And oh, include bathroom breaks on my busy sked too. :D Okay, so I'm wrapping this post now.
Just drop me a word if you ever get by here! Thanks! *hugs*
End of May Soundtrack courtesy of Panic! At The Disco:
- That Green Gentleman
- Nine In The Afternoon
- Northern Downpour
* They have a whole new sound in their whole new album. Pretty. Odd. is must-hear album. I love the 3 songs and it makes me feel happy. :)
* Panic! At The Disco, btw, will have a concert here in the Philippines on August 14 @Araneta Coliseum. And I badly want a ticket! A VIP ticket to be specific!

I'm Alive
I really get caught up in thinking of what titles to name my posts, thanks to my trusty Winamp and to my
greatest summer infatuation, David Cook. :D You bet I would include him again to this post. Okay okay, I admit this has become a habit for me to post about him. Well now, I'd post just little - it's all about me baby! :P
Okay, first thing's first:
I got a domain for myself! It's
HappyChocoBox.net but the site is yet available because I'm still in the process of perfecting my fruit of labor and love. :) I'll update you as soon as the files are all uploaded and there are no bugs, flaws, whatsoever.
I'm missing American Idol. :( <--
pardon me, I really get nostalgic.Much more than that, I miss
David Cook.
Gawd, I think I even told Mama that he's my ideal husband! Pwahaha. Oh well, forget that I told you that. >.< *blushes* Okay, I'll update you next time. :) I'm really in a hurry to finish my website soon enough before my college years start. Catch you all guys again sometime.
PS: I know few of you totally read my blog. Haha, anyway I predict when I'm famous, y'all be frequently on the lookout for my updates. LOL. :DThe Rainbow Goddess,

I Can't Contain My Happiness!
Finally, the verdict has been set. And after almost 5 months, today has been the most memorable day in my entire TV lifetime. :)

David Cook is the American Idol of Season 7Last night (which was the Final Performance night) pretty sucks - Simon Cowell gave the two Davids his piece of judgment, calling it a knockout by David Archuleta. I can sense that there's something going on that night and even David Cook had performed 3 beautiful songs, he couldn't contain his feeling about Simon giving a damn let-down. So what happened then?
The night started with a boxing theme and The Davids being introduced to the public. The first song choice was by RCA Chairman Clive Davis, the second choice was picked by the contestants from American Idol Season 7's Songwriting Competition, and the third and last choice was a song picked by the contestants - be it a previous performance or not.
By the way, the order performance is decided through a coin toss - David Archuleta won the toss so he got to pick his position: he said he's decided to go second. Lord Andrew Webber (responsible for the Phantom of the Opera music) coached them again for the second time; he had also coached the contestants during the Top 6 Performance Night.
Here are the list of performances:
- David Cook
- 1st Song Choice: I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For (U2)
- 2nd Song Choice: Dream Big (Emily Shackelton)
- 3rd Song Choice: The World I Know (Collective Soul)
- David Archuleta
- 1st Song Choice: Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me (Elton John)
- 2nd Song Choice: In This Moment (Ryan Gillmor)
- 3rd Song Choice: Imagine (John Lennon)
You can read the whole article about the American Idol Season 7 Finale here.
Again, as I have said, I'm happy my predictions were right. I knew David Cook would win this hands down no matter what Simon had said about him being knocked out by the little David. It's only him - one heck of a critic judge against David Cook's millions and millions of fans, include Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul - and that makes Simon Cowell the only dissatisfied audience that night. :)
I have also casted my vote for David Cook using
Gizmo! Good thing I have voted just in time for the finals! I can't believe my call through
Gizmo got through!!!
Sorry for the over usage of exclamation marks - it's just that I am so ecstatic that he finally won this season after all the hard work he's been through.
** UPDATE: I'm halfway through with my website. :) I think I can host it before the end of the month.
Again, I congratulate my greatest summer infatuation David Cook for winning this season of American Idol! It has been an honor to me to have known you, even if it's just through our Sony Wega TV. :D Hahaha. But taking this on serious note, you were the only one who made me inspired and have helped me overcome my songwriter's block! :D Thank you David Cook! (As if he would be reading this! But we may never know - I sure hope so. I really like him that much - not only because of how he looks right now but how he makes me like the old songs I've never even heard of. YOUR VOICE TOTALLY BLEW ME AWAY DAVID COOK!

Fast Track Update
Okay, I'm gonna make this just a quick bite:
- I'm still working on my PHP pages for the website I'm planning to be hosted @ NeoTitans.
- I just ate Holy Kettle Popcorn and I still ♥ it!
- I'm so happy we had inihaw na porkchop for lunch. :)
- The finals for American Idol Season 7 is gonna be later @ 6PM on QTV channel 11! Ooopf! (How do you pronounce that anyway? Oh well) I can't wait! xD I hope David Cook wins this season! But as I always say, he and Archuleta are both great. It's just that I'm more likely to cheer DC. :"> *blushes*
- Finally! I got to vote for David Cook as my American Idol through Gizmo! I can't believe I just did! o_O It's like a dream come true (
exaggeration) well not exactly that fulfilling but I'm so happy my vote got in. At least I know that when David Cook wins, I have been a part of his success. DAVID COOK FTW! (For the Win) Haha. This is getting extreme. Summer infatuation sucks, I tell you.
- Mama and I are getting through pretty well. And I am so damn glad we're good now.
- I'm getting too excited for everything!!! :D:D:D
I dunno. I just have so many things happening in my life. Okay, excluding lovelife. I just don't feel like I should be sitting around the corner and putting myself down like I always do.
Sometimes you have to realize that even though many people say that life is unfair, face the fact that you must stand up, hold your head high and do the best that you can to be happy because after all, it's only yourself who could do the best of everything for your own happiness - and that's what I have finally realized.
I think I found my true happiness. :)

The New Cut
Good morning again. I have some good news to tell you guys:
- I am used to waking up early now! I sleep early too - around 7 or 8 PM the most. :] Goodbye insomnia!
- I have finally learned what PHP is! My website is now working under a local host. I have found an offline tester to see if it works without the hassle of getting first a webhost server and test it there, and more likely spend my weeks testing with my bill running. Here's the cool offine tester: http://www.firepages.com.au/phpdev5.htm Just install it on your computer, pop in your files in the www directory and poof! You may now test out your pages! :] Pretty nifty huh?
- I have evaluated the webhosts that captured my interest with their affordable hosting packages: Nokiahost vs. NeoTitans. Kaila of Eerie-Silence.net referred me to NeoTitans instead. I think she's quite right, because Nokiahost offers cheap hosting with free domain but they require a 1-year minimum payment of Php1,800 (this is for the basic package) for your order while NeoTitans offer Php700 for their Starter B (Php350 for domain + Php350 for the package which is in 3 months payment term). NeoTitans is much more flexible when it comes to payment. I better get start inquiring.. :)
- American Idol Finals is really here! It's going to hit the TV screens by this week with the much awaited finale: David vs. David battle. It's Cook or Archuleta - now or never. :D They're both really great singers but I hope Cook gets the title as Archuleta has to improve his overall stage performance (ugh, he has these awkward movements that make others think he's gay, although he's really not). I think he just needs more time. Cook is the perfect bagger of this season so he deserves to win. Plus, David Archuleta has more years to live for, so he could still join in for another season if that's legal. LOL.
- Mama and I are doing great! We're more of bonding now than ignore sessions. I've changed a lot since Papa reminded me of what things I should remember. This is one heck of a major self-renovation! :D
And by the way, check out my new web layout.
I have changed the previous one to this. I think it looks better. What do you think?

Plus plus, I saw this @ Tinypic.com and I super wanted a hair like this. UGH. If only.. but since school's gonna start soon (June 11), I won't probably get it. Next summer na lang perhaps. :| Another plus - the shirt is so kawaii! I want to have one!!! <-- sorry for the uber-usage of exclamation marks. You can tell I want this so bad. Hahahaha.

Coolness, huh? Oh well. I hope my hair could carry this style if I have the opportunity to go get it. But since I'm not a Caucasian, I can't probably (heyyy, dapat think positive Rys!). Tsk, tsk. Naku, I have to start to be optimistic na. Naniniwala na ako sa inner beauty eh! :D:D Hahaha.
PS: We'll go to church mamaya. Don't forget to attend the mass too ha?
Visit God. :)

Happy Friday!
GOOD MORNING! Yesss, it's Friday again! :D My favorite day of the week. Later I'd be watching Criminal Minds @ Studio 23, 9:30 PM. So if you want to have evening mystery chills, you know where you can stay and lounge on the couch.
American Idol News Flash: Syesha is voted off.
Now it's down to The Davids to battle it out.

She has been eliminated from the finals. Haaay, next week will be the end of American Idol Season 7 search.
I can't believe only 2 episodes are left. I'll miss those AI moments with Rachel (my "Home" --our special nickname) and the times of looking forward to Wednesdays and Thursdays just so I could get a glimpse of what AI has to offer. :D And of course, I'll miss the Davids, and
David Cook of course.
I'm happy my predictions were right: the battle is David vs. David. :]
This will be the season of American Idol I will always remember and treasure. The contestants are all great! Hands down. Whoever wins - be it Cook or Archuleta, doesn't matter. They all did their best to get this far. :) I hope they'll be successful to each of their own careers. Perfect example?
Chris Daughtry of Season 6.
By the way, to all incoming freshie of University of Sto. Tomas, classes will start on June 11.
Oh well, gotta move on. I have to work on my post-website now. I'm starting to get the hang of PHP! Yaaaaay! ♥ Catch me on my next update!
